7 plots, a BMW X5, and $161,000 in cash: Yaroslav Golovachev, head of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, registered assets in the name of his unemployed wife and father-in-law
The asset declaration submitted by Yaroslav Golovachev, head of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, has attracted public attention due to reported discrepancies between official income and declared assets.
According to the document, members of his family — including Anastasia Golovacheva and Miron Golovachev — acquired high-value real estate and accumulated substantial savings.
We are publishing materials related to the declaration in order to examine the scale of the reported assets and the property-related arrangements that, according to public reports, may involve the use of affiliated individuals.
According to the document, Holovachov, together with his wife Anastasia and two children, lives in an apartment of 121 sq.m, which belongs to Sergey Rybchenko, likely the judge’s father-in-law.
Holovachov also declared an apartment in Kyiv of 47.5 sq.m, which is managed by his son Miroslav Holovachov. The apartment officially belongs to Lili Kernychna.
In addition, Sergey Rybchenko provided the judge with a parking space in Kyiv for free use. At the same time, Anastasia Holovachova manages a parking space that belongs to Anastasiya Kernychna.
A land plot of 2.5 thousand sq.m in the village of Fenevychi officially belongs to Yaroslav Holovachov; the judge also owns a land plot in the village of Hnydyn of 820 sq.m. His wife also has a plot of 820 sq.m in the village of Hnydyn. In the village of Buky, she owns two land plots with a total area of about 4.5 thousand sq.m, and in the village of Shevchenkove – another land plot of 1000 sq.m.
In the village of Protsiv, Yaroslav Holovachov manages a land plot of 1500 sq.m, which belongs to Mykola Skalan.
Anastasia also indicated a non-residential premises in Kyiv of 50 sq.m, which she manages free of charge. The owner of the property – PE «Agrotrans».
In 2020, son Miron Holovachov received ownership of an apartment in Kyiv of 102 sq.m. At the same time, its price is indicated at 10 thousand hryvnias, which does not correspond to the real market value of real estate in the capital.
The family’s only car is listed as BMW X5 (2018), which Anastasiya Holovachova purchased in 2018 for 1.64 million hryvnias.
In 2020, the judge earned 2.06 million hryvnias, plus 500 thousand hryvnias from the sale of a car, 172 thousand hryvnias as interest from JSC «PrivatBank». His wife declared 14.6 thousand hryvnias of income from entrepreneurial activity, and son Miron – 20 thousand hryvnias scholarship at NC MANU, 10 thousand hryvnias gift in non-monetary form (likely referring to the gifted apartment in Kyiv, the cost of which he indicated at 10 thousand hryvnias – Ed.), and 5.2 thousand hryvnias scholarship at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The Holovachov family owns 3.21 million hryvnias and 161 thousand US dollars in savings.
