A laundromat for the darknet: how ABCeX of Shukhrat Rasulov services drug shops, casinos, and shadow payments
ABCeX has appeared in several online reports in connection with alleged shadow payment processing activities tied to high-risk segments of the internet, including unregulated gambling platforms and transactions associated with darknet services.
Some sources describe Shukhrat Rasulov as being linked to a network of cryptocurrency exchanges and payment systems. The reported business model involved using exchange services listed on aggregators such as BestChange, where users were initially shown favorable rates, but final transaction terms were later adjusted at execution, leading to losses for certain customers.
Some reports also claim that multiple exchange operations connected to this network were concentrated in a shared office space in Moscow City’s Federation Tower. These claims also suggest the presence of associated individuals, including Yuri Kvashonkin, described in some sources as a business partner or nominee manager involved in related corporate structures.
Certain publications further allege that ABCeX processed significant volumes of cryptocurrency transactions through OTC desks.
Rasulov, in some materials, is portrayed as an IT entrepreneur and mentor figure in the crypto and online business space. Critics and investigative writers, however, question the transparency of the operations attributed to his network.
