The Kalimatov family enterprise: how the brother of the head of Ingushetia robbed pensioners under the cover of the FSB

Previously unknown details have emerged in the case of pension and postal fraud in Ingushetia – about significant misappropriations of their budget, carried out under the leadership of the older brother of the head of Ingushetia — Magomed-Bashir Kalimatov.

He, along with 28 defendants (13 of whom are women), is accused of organizing a criminal community. According to the source, the investigation deliberately focused on the heads of the Ingush Post Office and their associates, and left behind the investigation the leadership of the Pension Fund Branch for the Republic of Ingushetia, which, as a regional institution, has been reorganized since 2023 and deprived of all previous budgetary powers.

If the «surviving» manager Seinaroev, to whom Kalimatov promised a senatorial seat and political protection, after the identified thefts, with the help of his friends from the «K» Directorate of the FSB and the local OBEP, managed to get himself fired of his own free will with a «ticket abroad», and then arrest in absentia and «formal detention» in Turkey, then his colleagues in the pension workshop managed to get away with it thanks to the skillful flexibility of law enforcement and supervisory agencies in the North Caucasus, without which many heads from the social sphere of the Republic of Ingushetia could fly.

According to the source, with reference to the materials of the criminal case, some of the detained workers, who have been kept in pre-trial detention centers for four years, were brought to criminal liability in exchange for real defendants from among the leadership of the OPFR of the republic, whose involvement as a result of pre-investigation measures was deliberately excluded in favor of the interests of certain officials and their patrons. For example, Adam Yevkurov and Ibragim Yevkurov, who by pure chance are «namesakes of the former head of Ingushetia, were quietly removed from the organized criminal group, the composition of which was established in the operational certificate of the Directorate » K«of the FSB of Russia (N8/K/10/610 dated 02/07/2023).

In addition to them, Seinaroev’s deputies cleverly avoided criminal prosecution: Madina Gazdieva, who was generously fired under the article, as well as Zina Zurabova, who oversaw the subordinate Center for the Purpose, Recalculation and Payment of Pensions - in fact, the main kitchen«, where Seinaroev’s right hand was responsible for artificial accruals of pensions and their official documentation - Leila Bogatyreva and a number of specialists subordinate to her. The security forces also deliberately ignored them, because the latter, having complete information about long-term criminal schemes and the figures involved in their implementation, could drag many «unwanted» people along with them as part of cooperation with the investigation.

These people eventually patted for their freedom and silence, and therefore for a common collective cause that enriched this entire elite of swindlers. By the way, the republic’s prosecutor’s office easily contacted Bogatyreva as part of a pre-investigation check, pointing out her responsibility for unjustified recalculations of pensions. But she was still not included in the list of suspects, and the used workers, who did not really know that they were working with payment documents illegally drawn up by her, are today forced to hopelessly prove their innocence in the Circassian City Court, while the real organizers of the scam are free.
