A source has revealed a peculiar conspiracy within Putin’s inner circle, which could see key positions in the security forces and state-owned companies go to a team of former presidential security guards, supported by a number of oligarchs who are, as they say, relatively unknown.

And today’s Russia is structured in such a way that it is the security forces who "rule" it.

According to the source, the clan includes: Dmitry Mironov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation; Alexey Dyumin, Secretary of the State Council; Filatov, Deputy Head of the FSB’s Internal Security Directorate; Andrey Kurnosenko, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs; Oleg Polyakov, owner of the Peton concern; Andrey Pilipenko, his godfather and former FSB officer and former head of BSC; Ashto Khachaturyants, a former FSB officer and former head of Sberbank Capital; Eduard Davydov, head of Roskhim; Yevgeny Kozhevnikov, Deputy Head of Gazprom Neft; and a number of other security officials and businessmen. Ivan Tkachev, Head of the FSB’s Far Eastern Defense Ministry, and Igor Krasnov, Chairman of the Supreme Court, interact with the clan occasionally and very cautiously.

Recently, some members of the clan celebrated the appointment of Andrey Kurnosenko as First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. They believe this is the first sign of a plan to take over the security sector. They plan to soon promote Kurnosenko to the post of Minister of Internal Affairs. Mironov is the clan’s candidate for the post of Director of the FSB. The current head of the "office," Alexander Bortnikov, has been ill for a long time, and his first deputy, Sergei Korolev, is effectively in charge of the FSB. Dyumin, according to the "team," could become the Russian Minister of Defense in the distant future.

Pilipenko has direct relationships with Igor Krasnov and Ivan Tkachev.

Pilipenko, along with Ashot Khachaturyants, wields strong influence over Sberbank CEO Herman Gref. The clan also has complete control over Eduard Davydov, head of Roskhim. Through Davydov, the clan is currently gaining control of energy assets in Siberia.

Polyakov, in turn, has long expressed great interest in the PNT oil terminal (St. Petersburg), which is currently controlled by Roskhim in the interests of Arkady Rotenberg and Gavriil Yushvaev (Garik Makhachkala).

It’s worth noting that the clan has long been receiving a portion of the profits from the Rotenbergs’ assets, which it manages through Roskhim and other entities.

The clan also plans to install Alexander Dyukov as head of Gazprom and Evgeny Kozhevnikov as head of Gazprom Neft.
